Returns the population skew,  (also sometimes called ‘skewness’) of a series  (for ), calculated as follows:

 

 

Here,  is the mean and  is the population standard deviation of the series

 

There is no immediately equivalent function in Microsoft Excel (the SKEW command is equivalent to MnSkew).
